Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Vice President, Strategic Communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of integrated strategic communications strategies aligning institutional goals with brand, enrollment, and advancement priorities
  • Advise university leaders on reputational positioning and visibility strategy while embedding strategic communications within major campaigns
  • Define measurement frameworks connecting communications performance to institutional outcomes and help build the strategic communications practice


Required Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in higher education communications, including strategic communications and media relations
  • Demonstrated experience supporting institutional brand positioning and major initiatives
  • Experience advising senior university leaders, including presidents and advancement leaders
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience
