Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate Vice President, Strategic Communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of integrated strategic communications strategies aligning institutional goals with brand, enrollment, and advancement priorities
- Advise university leaders on reputational positioning and visibility strategy while embedding strategic communications within major campaigns
- Define measurement frameworks connecting communications performance to institutional outcomes and help build the strategic communications practice
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in higher education communications, including strategic communications and media relations
- Demonstrated experience supporting institutional brand positioning and major initiatives
- Experience advising senior university leaders, including presidents and advancement leaders
- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience
