Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Strategic Contracts and M&A, Public Sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the central hub for USG contract leads, ensuring a unified strategy and consistent voice in government negotiations
  • Lead the GovCon strategy for acquisitions, managing novations and structural transitions to ensure seamless integration
  • Identify and resolve compliance gaps by partnering with HR, IT, and Finance to maintain audit readiness and support government requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years in government contracting
  • Bachelor's degree and MBA or relevant field; equivalent experience is valued
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance or ability to acquire one
  • Expertise in negotiating FAR and non-FAR agreements
  • Experience operating within a parent/subsidiary structure to maintain commercial agility
