Strategic Finance Associate

Job Summary

Owning financial reporting, planning, and KPI/OKR visibility, the full-time salaried Strategic Finance Associate will build forward-looking forecasts, automate financial reporting processes, and serve as a trusted partner to department leaders in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build forward-looking forecasts to support runway planning and board communication
• Maintain and improve core financial models, including P&L and cash burn
• Lead the annual budgeting cycle and partner with department heads on resource allocation

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in strategy consulting or investment banking, with startup or high-growth experience preferred
• Proven ability to build financial models from first principles and explain underlying assumptions
• Experience connecting finance to operations and understanding business mechanics
• Self-directed with a proactive approach to problem-solving in ambiguous environments
• Commitment to the mission of supporting student mental health
