Strategic Finance Associate
Job Summary
Supporting Check's financial model and annual planning process, the full-time Strategic Finance Associate will design analytical frameworks, manage financial insights for leadership, and conduct ad-hoc analyses to optimize decision-making in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage Check's financial model, including revenue and cost drivers
- Support annual and quarterly financial planning and target-setting processes
- Prepare Board presentations and provide updates on company performance to investors
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of work experience, including 2+ years in investment banking or a similar role
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills
- Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans
- Familiarity with AI tools/agents to accelerate workflows
- Experience in fintech, payments, or embedded/vertical SaaS is a plus
