Strategic Finance Leader
Job Summary
As a full-time remote Principal Strategic Finance Leader, the successful candidate will manage the operating model and GMV/variance analysis, driving financial recommendations that support sustainable growth and strategic decision-making within the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Improve monthly budget-vs-actual analysis and develop live dashboards for departmental visibility into spending
- Own the forecasting and business review cadence, ensuring accountability through variance analysis and board reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities for cost reduction and enhance unit economics as the business scales
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or high-growth startup finance
- Proven experience building or leading strategic finance functions at a startup
- Ability to operate as both an analyst and an advisor, with skills in modeling and influencing strategic decisions
- Self-starter capable of driving process improvements and building trust with cross-functional leaders
- Passion for making finance a strategic partner within the organization
