Strategic Finance Manager

Job Summary

To drive strategic decision-making and enhance company-wide data analysis, the full-time Strategic Finance Manager will report to the CFO, manage cross-functional KPI reporting, lead strategic planning efforts, and own FP&A functions in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own cross-functional KPI reporting, ensuring accurate and timely visibility into team performance
• Lead ad hoc strategic planning efforts, partnering with leadership to evaluate new initiatives and market opportunities
• Manage the entire breadth of FP&A functions, including financial planning, variance analysis, and reporting to the Board and investors

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a similar analytical background, with FP&A or strategic finance experience at a high-growth SaaS or software startup
• Strong understanding of core SaaS metrics and their connection to business performance
• Excellent financial modeling skills, capable of building structured and reliable models
• Proven track record in building processes from scratch, ideally utilizing AI for development acceleration
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic insights to leadership by contextualizing data effectively
