Strategic Finance VP

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of long-term financial strategies, the remote VP of Strategic Finance will architect financial models, conduct M&A analysis, and implement new business models while partnering closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of 3-5 year long-range financial models to inform capital allocation and business priorities
• Establish top-down financial targets for annual planning cycles, aligning strategic goals with financial outcomes
• Partner with executive leadership to develop comprehensive business cases for strategic initiatives, including financial analysis and risk assessment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive finance experience in enterprise SaaS companies, with substantial FP&A and strategic finance responsibility
• Demonstrated expertise in subscription and consumption-based business models, including key SaaS metrics
• Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to build complex models for strategic analysis
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align financial strategy with business objectives
