Strategic Intelligence Manager

Job Summary

Serving as the individual-contributor expert, the full-time Strategic Intelligence Manager will own the strategic direction of Coinbase's Strategic Intelligence program, leading high-impact due diligence and delivering geopolitical assessments in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the governance of the Strategic Intelligence program, focusing on reputational due diligence and geopolitical intelligence
• Lead Reputational Due Diligence for mergers and acquisitions, producing risk findings that inform executive decision-making
• Deliver geopolitical intelligence assessments to senior leadership, evaluating the impact of global events on Coinbase's operations

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in intelligence, due diligence, or geopolitical risk analysis
• Proven track record of producing investigation and risk reports that inform business decisions
• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives independently from problem identification to solution delivery
• Strong communication skills for conveying complex risks to senior audiences
• Experience in applying systems thinking to enhance resilience and scalability in intelligence operations
