Strategic Logistics Leader

Job Summary

Driving efficiency and cost optimization in the supply chain, the full-time remote Strategic Logistics Leader will manage logistics governance, transportation procurement, and execution readiness while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ITO Logistics Specialists and oversee logistics planning, risk assessments, and budgetary freight estimates
• Develop transportation procurement strategies, negotiate with carriers, and ensure alignment with project execution objectives
• Drive cost optimization and performance monitoring while supporting logistics technology and continuous improvement efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Project Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain roles
• Experience managing domestic and international multimodal transportation operations
• Strong knowledge of heavy haul, breakbulk, and multimodal transportation operations
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
