Job Summary
Providing strategic direction and guidance, the full-time Strategic Planner will lead the development and implementation of operational plans for SAMHSA's 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Awareness initiative, ensuring effective communications, marketing, and engagement workstreams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated work plans for various task areas, including media campaign planning and performance metrics reporting
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators and subject matter specialists to ensure timely execution of activities and alignment with project goals
- Support the development of campaign strategies and provide operational planning assistance to inform priority actions in digital and communications efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public health, marketing, public administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience in strategic planning for complex initiatives
- Proven ability to develop and implement integrated work plans in collaboration with government clients or senior stakeholders
- Experience managing logistics and cross-functional teams to execute operational plans effectively
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance (Tier II)
