Strategic Planning Consultant

Job Summary

Providing expert guidance remotely, the full-time Strategic Planning Consultant will evaluate compliance management systems, advise on product development, and oversee compliance processes for banks and fintechs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second line advice and oversight on deposit and lending products for US consumers
• Critically evaluate business processes and organizational structures related to compliance functions
• Review and revise compliance-related policies and procedures for various financial institutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5-10 years of experience in consumer banking, preferably under CFPB supervision
• Experience in a consumer compliance role at a regulated financial institution
• Extensive knowledge of banking regulatory compliance management systems
• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager designation or Bank Examiner experience is a plus
