Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Strategic Segment Proposal Engineer will develop technical and commercial proposals for ABB Electrification's focused industry segments, collaborating with sales managers to drive inquiry to order functions and ensure project profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Strategic Account Sales Managers and customers to identify critical quality factors for growth
- Organize and lead deal strategy and pricing discussions with internal stakeholders
- Evaluate project risks and initiate reviews to align with ABB standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the electrical distribution industry, with at least 5 years in sales and project quotations
- Deep technical knowledge of ABB's electrical distribution product portfolio
- Experience with large-scale projects involving EPC, industrial, or data center end users
- Ability to leverage electronic tools for organization and communication in a remote setting
