Strategic Quality Assurance Lead

Job Summary

Owning the entire quality ecosystem of the platform, the full-time Strategic Quality Assurance Lead will define and execute the quality vision, manage and mentor the QA team, and proactively solve problems while collaborating with engineering and product leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define, champion, and execute the overarching quality vision for the platform, aligning QA strategy with business and product goals
• Strategically manage and mentor the QA team, optimizing resource allocation to enhance long-term quality and reduce technical debt
• Identify systemic bottlenecks in the development lifecycle and implement structured solutions and modern methodologies

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a proven track record of owning QA strategy and managing high-performing teams
• Proven ability to balance immediate release deadlines with long-term platform health through a strategic mindset
• Experience in designing, implementing, and scaling modern test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate quality gates and influence engineering practices
• History of successfully introducing new testing methodologies or organizational processes independently
