Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager - Military Aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing plans for multiple Supply Chain categories
• Conduct global market research to identify potential new suppliers and execute RFQs for designated categories
• Monitor and manage supplier performance, providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Greater than seven years of progressive experience in manufacturing or a related field
• Negotiating skills with knowledge of procurement and contractual law
• Excellent understanding of contractual requirements, business systems, and processes
• Certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain is preferred
