Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate with suppliers, and drive cost reduction projects in the IT sector.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal IT stakeholders to implement cost reduction initiatives
• Develop and negotiate strategic sourcing initiatives for high-value, complex IT products and services
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in Indirect Procurement
• Experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management related to Information Technology
• CPSM, APICS, or other supply chain management certification is a plus
• Training and/or experience with LEAN and Six Sigma practices
