Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

To support a mission-driven organization, the full-time remote Strategic Sourcing Manager will develop sourcing and procurement strategies for equipment, supplies, and services while leading cross-functional projects and vendor selection initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research for alternative products and procurement sources while analyzing trends in commodity markets and Vitalant spend
• Lead the evaluation of RFI and RFP responses, facilitating a structured bid evaluation and selection process
• Negotiate contracts for capital equipment and services, ensuring compliance with stakeholder needs and maintaining strong vendor relationships

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
• Proficiency in developing RFP documents and conducting bid analysis
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on fact-based decision-making
• Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sourcing strategies accordingly
