Job Summary

A company is looking for a Streaming Media Support Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain MVPD-based LIVE and VOD ABR video encoding and packaging systems
Manage live and exclusive content events while troubleshooting any issues related to video
Perform routine maintenance and provide break/fix analysis throughout the video workflow

Required Qualifications

Able to work in a shifted 24x7 operations environment
Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting video delivery or video applications
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience
Familiarity with different CDN vendors and multimedia transport protocols
Experience with SCTE-104 and SCTE-35 ad messaging
