Stress Analyst

Job Summary

To support ongoing activities for a customer, the full-time remote Stress Analyst will perform finite element and classical stress analysis of structures and mechanisms, create and modify stress analysis models, and support design maturation assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform finite element and classical stress analysis of structures and mechanisms
• Create and modify stress analysis models and evaluate mechanisms within existing finite element models
• Conduct preliminary and final analyses, including part sizing and fatigue/fracture assessments, while documenting deliverable stress reports

Required qualifications

• 9+ years of relevant stress analysis experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience performing stress analysis on spacecraft
• Proficiency with NASTRAN/FEMAP
• US Citizenship is required
