Structural Design Engineer - PE Licensed

Job Summary

Leading high-impact structural design work for utility-scale renewable energy and substation projects, the full-time Structural Design Engineer - PE Licensed will create engineering plans, design foundations, and mentor team members in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create structural engineering plans and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects
• Design concrete or steel foundations to meet jurisdictional requirements
• Lead multiple projects and mentor staff engineers while ensuring compliance with safety standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
• 5+ years' experience in a structural engineering design role
• In-depth knowledge of software tools such as RISA 2D/3D/Foundation and Enercalc
• Strong familiarity with relevant codes and standards including ASCE 7 and ACI 318
• Ability to read and understand site studies and geotechnical reports
