Structural Design Technician

Job Summary

As a key contributor to the design team, the full-time remote Structural Design Technician will develop design concepts, produce 2D and 3D deliverables, and ensure the accuracy and quality of structural models for advanced technology manufacturing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed structural models based on engineering input and project requirements
• Produce complete sets of construction-ready documentation and structural plans
• Guide a small team, manage task assignments, and lead coordination efforts across disciplines to ensure successful project delivery

Required qualifications

• Experience in developing 3D structural models and producing detailed structural plans
• Proficiency in design software relevant to structural engineering
• Ability to translate engineering instructions into construction-ready documentation
• Strong understanding of industry standards and practices for structural design
• Demonstrated capability to manage tasks and coordinate with cross-functional teams
