Job Summary

A company is looking for a Structural Designer (Transmission).

Key Responsibilities

• Design creation for construction prints of transmission substation or transmission line projects
• Decipher information from multiple sources to prepare basic sketches and drawing packages
• Check equipment manufacturers' prints for conformity to design and record work

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in structural design, architectural design, or related design technology
• Five years of experience in structural design related work, preferably in substations or transmission lines
• Ability to understand the impact of design changes across drawings
• Capacity to apply spatial awareness when working with 2D drawings
• Responsible time management skills for project prioritization
