Structural Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting commercial and hospitality projects from concept through construction, the full-time Structural Engineer will develop structural design loads, perform calculations, and produce accurate, code-compliant construction documents, with the flexibility to work remotely or from the Madison, WI office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structural design loads and perform calculations for building components
• Create accurate, code-compliant construction documents in coordination with architects and MEP partners
• Review shop drawings for conformance and support project progression from design to construction administration

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (with a strong emphasis in structural) or structural engineering
• Solid experience designing commercial building structures
• Strong working knowledge of applicable codes and structural analysis/drafting software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, and RISA
• Interest in working toward licensure as a PE or SE
• Able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
