Structural Engineer (Germany Licensed)

Job Summary

To support the advancement of AI in structural engineering, a remote contract opportunity is available for a Structural Engineer (Germany Licensed) who will design and evaluate AI training tasks based on real-world engineering challenges, focusing on areas such as seismic design and finite element simulation.

Key responsibilities

• Design AI training tasks rooted in structural engineering problems, including analysis and code compliance
• Write clear problem statements and develop scoring checkers and reference solutions for AI evaluation
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for technical accuracy and provide expert feedback to enhance AI performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field; Master's or PhD is a plus
• Applied experience in structural analysis and design, with proficiency in OpenSees
• Familiarity with Eurocode design standards and concepts like pushover analysis and nonlinear modeling
• Able to formulate clear engineering problems and write unambiguous problem statements
• Detail-oriented, methodical, and self-motivated, with strong written communication skills in English
