STS ACS Congenital Abstractor

Job Summary

To support accurate cardiovascular registry abstraction for healthcare clients, the full-time or part-time STS ACS, GTS, or Congenital Abstractor will independently review clinical documentation, apply registry specifications, and ensure high levels of accuracy while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews patient medical records and abstracts data for the STS ACS, GTS, or Congenital Registries
• Applies registry specifications and abstraction guidelines accurately and consistently
• Enters accurate data into assigned registry platforms and meets productivity expectations and deadlines

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent STS ACS, GTS, or Congenital Registry abstraction experience
• Ability to independently abstract cases using registry specifications and clinical documentation
• Strong understanding of healthcare quality reporting and medical record interpretation
• Experience working with multiple EHRs and data collection systems
• Contractors must have high-speed secure internet and a PC or laptop with at least two monitors
