Student Disability Services Advisor

Job Summary

Providing essential support to students with disabilities, the full-time Student Disability Services Advisor will assist with ADA accommodations, respond to inquiries, and maintain student records while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries regarding ADA services and eligibility, providing information to students and staff
• Meet with students to assess their specific disabilities and accommodation needs, determining reasonable accommodations
• Maintain confidentiality and manage student ADA files, ensuring timely responses to accommodation requests

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Two years of experience in disability services within higher education or vocational rehabilitation settings
• Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act and related regulations
• Ability to articulate university policies and requirements effectively
• Moderate to expert skill level with Microsoft Office Suite
