Student Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

To support student success and retention, the full-time remote Student Engagement Specialist will manage the New Student Onboarding process, serve as a liaison for prospective students navigating admissions and financial aid, and develop engagement programs to enhance the university experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide prospective students through the admissions process and provide financial aid support, including FAFSA assistance
• Develop and implement programs that promote student engagement and support financial literacy
• Collaborate with various departments to align strategies for recruitment, retention, and student engagement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in higher education, student services, admissions, or financial aid
• General understanding of financial aid processes and admissions procedures
• Technological proficiency with Student Information Systems (SIS) and CRM tools like Salesforce
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse student populations
