Student Extern - IT Support

Job Summary

To support various Application Services teams, the part-time hourly Student Extern - IT Support will analyze system issues, assist in technical support, and gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and systems maintenance while primarily working remotely with occasional onsite meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze source documents and database structures while assisting in diagnosing system issues
• Support operating system updates, patch management, and documentation of system environments
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to enhance system performance and reliability

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and currently enrolled or planning to enroll in college
• Preferred candidates pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in IT, Computer Science, or related fields
• No prior work experience required, but familiarity with AI tools is preferred
• Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies
• Local candidates from the Houston, Texas area are preferred
