Student Finance Advocate

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Student Finance Advocate will support active and inactive students with the university's tuition process, manage collections and payment plans, and ensure compliance with financial aid policies while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with students regarding payment completion requirements and counsel those with high balances or delinquent accounts
• Establish and prepare payment plans for tuition and other university charges while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
• Perform data entry for Student Accounts and collaborate with various departments to assist students with financing needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with one to two years of customer service experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and database software
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented setting
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask
