Student Loan Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Student Loan Counselor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Place outbound calls, send letters, and emails to contact delinquent borrowers
• Counsel borrowers on deferment, forbearance, and rehabilitation requirements
• Track and report contact and cure activities in accordance with guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Two+ years' experience in call center default management or loan collections
• Experience in MS-Excel
• Ability to work evening and weekend shifts as necessary
• Self-starting and able to work consistently without direct supervision
