Student Loan Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part Time Student Loan Counselor.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to counsel clients on managing student loans and maintaining current loan status
• Communicate with borrowers regarding their responsibilities and the consequences of default
• Maintain accurate documentation of borrower accounts and update loan statuses

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of office/business, clerical, or customer service experience
• Preferred: 1 year experience in a call center
• Preferred: 1 year experience in the financial industry, including student loans or collections
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish and English
