Job Summary

A company is looking for a Student Payments Collections Advisor (temporary).

Key Responsibilities

• Contact students regarding unpaid tuition fees and discuss solutions to meet payment obligations
• Maintain positive relationships with students while providing accurate information about payment options
• Document interactions and generate reports on collection efforts and outstanding balances

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience, or an associate degree with at least 1 year of experience
• Previous experience in student accounts, financial aid, collections, or customer service
• Empathy and patience when dealing with students facing financial difficulties
• Strong negotiation abilities
• Knowledge of relevant regulations governing student debt collection
