Job Summary

A company is looking for a Student Reporter.

Key Responsibilities

• Write stories for the student-run newspaper covering news, features, arts, entertainment, or sports
• Attend events, conduct interviews, and generate story ideas
• Collaborate with editors to refine and improve written content

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in the University of Alaska system with a minimum of six credit hours
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 and be in good academic standing
• Ability to write quickly and meet deadlines
• Open to working collaboratively with editors
• Provide evidence of enrollment to substantiate employment eligibility
