Student Success Advisor

Job Summary

To enhance the academic journey of online students, the full-time Student Success Advisor will provide guidance on course registration, degree planning, and student support while working remotely from approved states during regular business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as an academic advisor, assisting students with course sequencing, registration, and university processes
• Track student enrollment and degree progression, providing coaching and support to improve academic success
• Engage with prospective students to provide information about online degree programs and facilitate their admission process

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Master's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited institution
• Experience in academic advising within a higher education environment
• Familiarity with student information systems such as PeopleSoft and CRM databases like Slate
• Experience advising military student populations is preferred
