Job Summary
Providing essential support to students, the full-time remote Student Support Representative will assist with inquiries related to university policies, degree programs, and federal educational funding options while ensuring compliance with privacy laws.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver timely information and problem resolution to students via phone, email, or chat
- Maintain compliance with federal privacy laws while managing student accounts
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve customer concerns and meet performance goals
Required qualifications
- Broad knowledge of university policies and federal educational funding sources
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Understanding of FERPA guidelines and student privacy regulations
- Proven ability to handle escalated issues and provide effective conflict resolution
