Student Support Representative

Job Summary

Providing essential support to students, the full-time remote Student Support Representative will assist with inquiries related to university policies, degree programs, and federal educational funding options while ensuring compliance with privacy laws.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely information and problem resolution to students via phone, email, or chat
• Maintain compliance with federal privacy laws while managing student accounts
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve customer concerns and meet performance goals

Required qualifications

• Broad knowledge of university policies and federal educational funding sources
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Understanding of FERPA guidelines and student privacy regulations
• Proven ability to handle escalated issues and provide effective conflict resolution
