Student Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Student Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a structured caseload of students receiving short-term intensive academic intervention
• Facilitate regular 1:1 and small group intervention sessions with students and families
• Analyze academic performance data and maintain thorough documentation of intervention plans and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in structured academic intervention or Tier 3 student support at the secondary level
• Bachelor's degree or higher in education, special education, psychology, or a related field
• Experience in special education and implementing structured interventions beyond general classroom teaching
• Demonstrated experience using academic performance data to design and implement structured intervention plans
• Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of a developing online school environment
