Student Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Managing and maintaining the Banner Student module and connected systems, the full-time Student Systems Analyst will analyze system functionality, collaborate with various university departments, and provide training to ensure effective use of the systems in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain validation tables and administrative controls within the Banner Student module while evaluating proposed system enhancements
• Conduct testing of system updates and troubleshoot errors in collaboration with IT and other departments
• Develop training materials and provide training to faculty and staff on the Banner Student module and connected systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent experience
• One year of full-time work experience in higher education operational systems or similar environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level
• Experience with a Student Information System (SIS) such as Ellucian Banner or similar
• Experience providing customer service in a high-volume professional office environment
