Student Wellness Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Student Access & Wellness Counselor (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement student disability accommodations and initiatives
• Provide counseling and support services to students regarding their disabilities
• Act as a liaison with internal and external departments concerning disability issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning through professional experience
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Understanding of issues relevant to persons with disabilities and post-secondary disability services
• Proven record of working successfully with diverse populations
• Ability to establish strong relationships through empathetic, student-centered counseling practices
