Studies Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Studies Engineer to support power system studies and transmission planning projects within the renewable energy and power markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and benchmark models of renewable plants using various software
• Design custom master plant controls for large multi-resource renewable projects
• Conduct dynamic simulations and support model validation and benchmarking

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in power systems or control systems
• Experience with Matlab Simulink and dynamic analysis using PSS E and PSCAD software
• Experience in developing custom user-defined models in PSS E or PSCAD software
• Permanent authorization to work in the U.S
