Job Summary
Collaborating with production teams and on-air talent, the full-time Studio Producer, Sports will produce live sports programming, manage production staff, and make real-time decisions to ensure engaging broadcasts from the Michigan home office.
Key responsibilities
- Support the live production of studio shows and pre-game/post-game coverage
- Coordinate production staff and collaborate with on-air talent and department leaders to develop show content
- Make real-time production decisions and troubleshoot issues during live broadcasts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in broadcasting, communications, journalism, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in sports broadcasting or live television production preferred
- Knowledge of live production workflows and control room operations
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on sports programming requirements
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
