Study Abroad Advisor

Job Summary

To support enrollment efforts for College study abroad programs, the remote Study Abroad Advisor will manage applicant outreach, review applications, and provide guidance on pre-departure procedures while striving to exceed enrollment targets.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed enrollment targets by converting applicants to paid participants during the application review and pre-departure process
• Advise students on complex visa and immigration processes and maintain in-depth knowledge of CIEE programs and locations
• Initiate proactive communication with applicants, participants, and institutional advisors to enhance student conversion and prepare them for their onsite experience

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2-3 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service-oriented field, preferably with a focus on education abroad or higher education
• International study or work experience is required
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales or enrollment targets is strongly preferred
• Strong administrative and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Salesforce CRM preferred
