Study Design Statistician

Job Summary

To support the Strategic Statistical Services Arm, the full-time Study Design Statistician will provide expert consultation on clinical trial design, assist clients with study simulations using proprietary software, and prepare statistical analysis plans and reports while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with study design, focusing on simulations to align with study objectives
• Prepare study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and reports, ensuring timely delivery of results
• Provide statistical consultancy support throughout clinical development and oversee third-party deliverables

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, pharmacology, or a related field; Master's or PhD preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in medical statistics within pharma, CRO, or academic settings
• Proficiency in SAS and/or R statistical software packages
• Experience in study design, protocol, and report writing
• Familiarity with modeling and simulation techniques for complex study designs preferred
