Subcontracts Specialist

Job Summary

Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of subcontracts and procurement activities, the full-time Subcontracts Specialist will ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations, negotiate commercial terms, and support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the full lifecycle of subcontracts and purchase orders, including solicitation, negotiation, and closeout
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and serve as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms while monitoring subcontractor performance and addressing issues proactively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Contracts, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in subcontracts administration or procurement in a government contracting environment
• Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition regulations
• Experience supporting manufacturing environments and procuring production-related materials and services
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint) and Microsoft Office tools
