Subject Matter Expert in Biophilic Design

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Subject Matter Expert in Biophilic Design, Neuroscience-informed Design, or Environmental Biopsychology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new online courses in Embodied Cognition and Intersensory Design, as well as Biophilic Patterns
• Collaborate with the program director and learning experience designer to create curricula
• Incorporate applied projects that span the subject matter of the courses

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's minimum) in a relevant field such as Behavioral or Cognitive Neuroscience or Environmental Psychology
• Specific expertise in applying neuroscience or biopsychology to environmental or design contexts
• Familiarity with online teaching and curricular design in psychology or interdisciplinary environmental studies
• Willingness to utilize generative AI tools to enhance learning
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the organization
