Job Summary

To support the development of large nuclear fluid pumps, the long-term contract Subject Matter Expert in Rotating Machinery will provide oversight during design, testing, and manufacturing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight for the design, testing, and manufacturing of large nuclear fluid pumps
• Review supplier deliverables and ensure compliance with design codes and standards
• Author and maintain specifications, oversee testing programs, and support project planning

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or related discipline with 15+ years of mechanical systems experience
• Experience in large vertical pump design and full hardware lifecycle management
• Proficiency in fluid and structural analysis, and ability to read engineering drawings
• Strong background in high temperature and multi-discipline integration, particularly in nuclear handling process systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead design teams and manage competing project objectives
