Job Summary

Providing oversight for first-of-a-kind large nuclear fluid pumps, the long-term contract Subject Matter Expert, Rotating Machinery will work remotely to manage design, testing, and manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with applicable design codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design, testing, and manufacturing of large nuclear fluid pumps
• Review supplier deliverables and maintain specifications necessary for pump design
• Lead the preparation and coordination of complete design packages, including calculations and drawings

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or related discipline and 15+ years of mechanical systems experience
• Experience with large vertical pump design and full hardware lifecycle
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in fluid and structural analysis
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead a design team with minimal direction
• Experience in high temperature and multi-discipline integration, particularly in nuclear handling process systems
