Subrogation Claims Examiner

Job Summary

To support the Subrogation Team, the full-time remote Subrogation Claims Examiner will evaluate subrogation potential, manage settlement negotiations, and communicate with various parties regarding pending matters.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate subrogation potential and triage claims to internal teams or vendors
• Support settlement negotiations and escalate liens when necessary
• Communicate with policyholders, vendors, attorneys, and agents about the status of subrogation matters

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of claims/liability experience in group insurance, or 0-1 year with an Associate's degree or higher
• Ability to interpret and apply written and oral instructions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
