Subrogation Claims Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Subrogation Claims Specialist - Home and Auto.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate claims to determine subrogation potential and responsible parties
• Initiate and manage subrogation actions, including sending demand letters and filing arbitration
• Negotiate settlements with third parties or their insurers to recover paid losses

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred but not required)
• 2-5 years' experience handling Subrogation claims
• 5+ years' experience in handling Auto/Homeowners/Dwelling Fire/Condominium Claims (strongly preferred but not required)
• Understanding of property and casualty insurance policies, coverages, and claims processes
• Familiarity with subrogation laws and legal procedures
