Subrogation Recovery Specialist
Job Summary
To maximize settlement amounts related to accidents, injuries, or illnesses, the full-time Subrogation Recovery Specialist will analyze cases, manage documentation, and interact with various stakeholders while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of cases from creation to recovery, maintaining accurate documentation and timely updates
- Negotiate claim settlements and prepare necessary legal correspondence and documentation
- Conduct thorough case reviews and follow-ups to ensure progress and compliance with internal and legal standards
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a legal or insurance setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security rules
- Familiarity with the Subrogation industry and ability to interpret relevant documents such as EOBs and UB-04 forms
