Subrogation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Subrogation Specialist to manage recovery for Workers Compensation and Auto damage.

Key Responsibilities

• Review subrogation potential and contact liability insurance carriers or third-party attorneys
• Negotiate recovery of clients' damages and maintain communication regarding claim status
• Manage a queue of claims with a volume of 250-300 and assist in filing Inter-company Arbitration

Required Qualifications and Education

• Experience in workers comp subrogation or auto damage subrogation preferred
• Four-year degree at an accredited college or university preferred
• PC literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to negotiate settlements over the phone
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
