Subrogation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an OPL Specialist I (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Collects payments from liable parties and insurance companies through coordination of benefits and subrogation
• Investigates billing and payment issues, processes refunds, and interprets Workers' Compensation information
• Negotiates with attorneys on the settlement of subrogation liens and monitors the progress of third-party suits

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of experience in Subrogation, Workers Compensation, or Medicare Second Payer (MSP)
• General knowledge of third-party reimbursement
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in negotiations
• Customer-focused and goal-oriented mindset
